Buckner Lodge Plus Campsite Use
A two-story lodge equipped with a modern kitchen, two full bathrooms, two large dormitory rooms upstairs, two bedrooms downstairs, and great room. Many guests use Buckner Lodge for cooking and to accommodate staff and camp organizers.
Sleeps up to 30 guests.
1-10 persons - $180 per day
11 + Persons Add $15 per person per day
Winter use - $75 per day minimum plus $15 per person per day
Children under 4 are free
Includes the use of Buckner Lodge kitchen
Campsites Only Use
(excludes the use of Buckner Lodge)
$15 per person per day
Shasta Camp is off the grid and generated power is available by prior arrangement for $20 an hour
Reservations must be made for use of campsites, Buckner Lodge and The Pavilion
Deposits are due when reservations are made and must be received to confirm a reservation
Reservation deposit: $100 non-refundable within 30 days of arrival date
Cleaning deposit: $100 refundable (pending approval by camp Host/Caretaker)
Pavilion Use
Campers: $50 per day (Camps must be more than 20)
Non-campers: $250 per day or $150 for 4 hours
$20 per hour for use of generator
There are no overnight accommodations in the Pavilion
Summer Use
29 tent sites and 20 RV sites (RVs must be self-contained)
Buckner Lodge/Kitchen/Great Room with Deck for dining and other uses —houses up to 30 guests
Babylon —large shower, restroom facility, flush toilets, hot water
Upper Babylon —isolated restrooms for primitive campers
Large Outdoor Recreation Area
Rustic Outdoor Worship area or Meeting Place
Note: Actual RV hookups unavailable at this time; however, water outlets are distributed throughout the site. Camp hosts live on site and are available for assistance.
Winter Use
Buckner Lodge is available by reservation during the winter months and is a convenient place to stay while enjoying winter recreational activities. It can house up to 30 guests with a Kitchen/Great Room/ and central wood stove providing comfortable warmth. If Castle Lake Road is cleared of snow, further access to the camp requires a short 1/4 mile trek on snow-shoes or skis. Sleds are provided to bring in gear and supplies during the snow season. Check with the Registrar for road conditions.
